* INSTALL:
- We advise to use at least PHP version 7.4 (we tested in PHP version 8.1.1).
- If possible use a website containing secured https:// link.
- Use the automatically update method in HuMo-genealogy or go to download page, for manual update: https://sourceforge.net/projects/humo-gen/files or: https://humo-gen.com
- Install or update HuMo-genealogy:
1) Go to admin page.
2) Install new HuMo-genealogy version.
3) Renew admin page. A message will be shown if there is a database update.

* LANGUAGES:
- Updated language files from: https://www.transifex.com/organization/humo-gen Thanks to all translators!
- Added Chech language (by Jerry).

* NEW:
- Relationshipcalculator: search fields firstname and lastname are replaced by one name field. It's now possible to search for special names like nickname.
- This version automatically removes old scripts if these were left from previous versions. This improves safety and stability of HuMo-genealogy!
- Age of man and woman by marriage is shown.
- It's now possible to easily use your own favicon icoon or logo in admin -> control -> settings page.
- If version check fails at humo-gen.com, a version check is done using GitHub.
- The automatic update file can now be downloaded from GitHub.
- Added date and time in footer of PDF pages (by Yossi).
- Editor for persons: addeda << (first person in database) and >> (last person in database) button.
- Editor: if calculated age < 0 or > 120, a fault message will be shown.
- Editor: added a search field in list of places.
- Admin: editor can be selected in page "Latest changes". Also changes in families will be shown.
- Added a reset button in "Advanced search" form.

* IMPROVED:
- The CSS layout scripts are changed!
Click after install once at [CTRL]-Renew browser. All files will be reloaded, and new settings will be used!
- Changed favorite icon.
- Updated jQuery and jQuery UI to most recent versions.
- Updated screenshot script html2canvas to most recent version.
- Changed slider scripts adapted to standard jQuery UI slider script.
- Admin pages: improved menu texts.
- Changed showing of age "xx years" into: "age xx years".
- Improved PDF export (by Yossi).
- Editor: if a source doesn't have properly filled data, the link to the source will be yellow.
- Editor: a first profession can immediately be added if a new person (or partner or child) is added in the family tree.
- Editor: improved speed of browsing through GEDCOM numbers for large family trees.
- Improved showing of person that is totally filtered (using the privacy filter).
- Improved editing of worldmap for places including accent characters.
- Added phone numbers in PDF reports.
- Timeline: improved default settings.
- Improved showing of date, place and source by nickname.
- Improved link for source by person and source by family.
- Improved export of sources in PDF export.
- Improved showing of text by object.
- RTF export: improved export of sources and text by witnesses.
- Changed text by family residence into "Residence (family)".

* BUGS:
- Prevented error message if new installation is done.
- In some cases there was a faultmessage (pers_address_connect_source) in family tree check.
- Solved problem with database check for wrong dates.
- OpenStreetMap: some places were not processed properly, and not shown in OpenStreetMap page.
